What is home staging® ?
Home staging® is the "curb to closet" preparation of a property for sale. Staging® your home begins with a written home staging® plan that covers all the details, including repairs, landscaping and step-by-step, curb-to-closet, room-by-room suggestions that will make your property stand out in a crowded marketplace. Yes! A home that is professionally staged® is more likely to sell at a higher price, and more quickly, than a home that is not staged.® The majority of staged® homes sell well within 60 days, and many sell much sooner. When should I contact Nuances?
Ideally, home staging® should occur before your property even goes on the market. The first few weeks your home is on the market is when there is the most activity. What does ASPM mean?
ASPM means Accredited Staging® Professional Master. It is the only nationally recognized designation for home staging® professionals. ASPMs receive in-depth training, follow a professional code of ethics and are governed by established policies and standards of excellence. As an ASPM, Kate Stenson-Lunt, the owner of Nuances, has the skills, talent and knowledge to help homeowners prepare their property for sale.

What is the difference between an accredited staging® professional and an interior designer?
Accredited staging® professionals have been trained in the real estate market, space utilization, the psychology of buyers and sellers, as well as interior design. Interior designers focus on preparing the home for the current homeowner to live in; home staging® professionals prepare the home, curb to closet, with the buyer in mind. This is critical to a successful sale!
